Mumtaz George, MD

As an internal medicine doctor, Mumtaz George, MD, has extensive experience as a primary care physician at Birmingham Royal Oak Medical Group in Royal Oak, Michigan. He’s one of the only doctors in the area to blend three medical modalities — holistic, natural, and traditional — to serve the men, women, and children in his care.

His clinic focuses on primary care, urgent care, pain management, and skin rejuvenation. Patients come to see him from all over Michigan, for a range of conditions, such as fevers, sprains, abdominal pain, excessive bleeding, allergies, infections, and chronic pain. He’s also fully certified to administer Federal Aviation Administration pilot exams.

Dr. George received his bachelor’s degree at Wayne State University in Detroit and his medical degree from Universidad de Granada Facultad de Medicina in Granada, Andalusia, Spain. He went on to earn his residency in internal medicine at Providence Hospital and Medical Center in Southfield, Michigan.

He speaks both English and Spanish and cares for a diverse group of patients who he treats like family. He’s diligent and determined to find the root cause of illness and prescribes holistic solutions that work with the body’s natural healing systems.
